I recall seeing this earlier at doom9. Something to do with a routine in the Kill Playback. Have a look at the version history (2nd last item).
F. New version v1.11 of PsKill.exe by SysInternals.com (in the bin folder
under Windows). The previous version was sometimes wrongly identified as
a possible virus by some virus killers.

The warning is displayed by some picky anti-virus programs because the PsKill.exe program included in the standard distribution of PgcEdit is able to kill a program, even remotely. It's true that it's a potential risk, but it is used only to kill the mkisofs process when the user wants to abort the ISO creation (Burn DVD function.)
If you don't use this function, you may safely delete PsKill.exe from the bin subdirectory, but the original will still be present in the PgcEdit.exe file.
Anyway, PsKill.exe is not a virus, only a potentially dangerous program.
A similar program, Kill.exe (by Micro$oft) has not this problem (probably because it cannot be used remotely), but it is so bugged that it cannot work properly with PgcEdit.
I think that McAfee (which I don't use) has an option to turn off those (IMO stupid) warnings.
Note: PsKill.exe is made by sysinternals.com, which is a serious company.Comment

Thanks.
I use AVG free also, and it has never discovered any virus in PgcEdit! IMO, for his price (free!) it's the best anti-virus!Comment

I use McAfee, but haven't scanned lately. I wonder what will come up when I scan later.CYA Later:

McAfee Warning about PgcEdit
I was the guilty party on the Doom9 forum asking about the virus detection with McAfee for PgcEdit. It's classified as a potentially unwanted program. To get McAfee to ignore it open the VirusScan On-Demand Properties,
Advanced tab, uncheck the Non-visuses: Find potentially unwanted programs block. This is for Virusscan Enterprise 7.1.0 but I would think the processes in similar in other versions. rOIz was very helpful when I orginally asked the question.
