.ISO Playback
I have found a way to mount .ISO image files using VcdControlTool.exe from Microsoft. I got it thru Majorgeeks.com, a Google search will turn it up. It probably has mentioned before on this forum but I thought it would be useful for us new folks. You can mount your .ISO image and check it using Media Player Classic. It is useful if you have burning problems and want to check your .ISO image file. It makes the image appear as a hard drive. It works really well. It is free. I have since found that my software In CD/DVD Ver.8 from Pinnacle has this feature but till I found it for free I didn't know what Virtual Drives were, go figure.

Gotta love that pic! I just use ISOBuster and then play the IFOs with something... I might check out Daemon Tools though.

Hey man, DaemonTools is bundled with whenUsave adware.I think that sucks. It is probably relatively harmless but I struggle to keep my machine clean. I will uninstall it for that reason. It should be noted for that reason and I should read the EULA better. O.K. I probably won't uninstall it until I get sick of Norton reporting it and I learn my Pinnacle software better.Comment

during installation of daemontools, it gives you the option of installing adware. all you had to do was untick it
you should at least briefly read the steps when you're installing something
either uninstall daemontools & adware then re-install (making sure you read the installation steps this time), or just use a program such as ad-aware to remove the adware

Oh mighty Lord of the Digital Video. The adware is listed as a toolbar and no where in the EULA does it state that there is an adware option or that the toolbar is adware.. Adaware SE did not detect it. Norton Antivirus with Spyware did. This is an extremely watered down version of that adware program, again probably harmless. I did read the EULA carefully this time but being human Oh Lord, I have faults. Daemon tools did not appear in the Uninstall list of add remove programs under XP and I had to use its uninstall program that came with it. I will try to uninstall it tomorow and see if it removes all of the WSU content also, there were 33 registry entries. I do understand that there may be revenue for Daemon Tools and I don't see that as a problem it is just that adware sucks . Who in there right mind would install adware intentionally? Forgive me for being forward my Lord. The program works very well though, I must admit.Comment

I just installed VLC. I like the GNU stuff, besides if Cynthia recomends it is must be good. Saves a step. Plays good.

Dear Doit2it: I offer my apology and you have made a friend and gained my respect. Cynthias monikers are just so good lookiing, I digressed. Everyone here has been extremely helpful to me without exception. It's hard too believe your not all American {Joke, LOL }.
