@jakobs, dialysis & nameless: looks like some bad frames at the start of the file. demux video & audio to separate streams with virtualdub using direct stream copy, making sure you set start & end points so that the first few frames aren't included in the selection, and try again

I installed the program. Changed HC to ver..18. Tried it twice with toe different files a nd different matrices and had no problems.

On the Input menu, where it asks to choose an audio stream, i have no options at all to choose from, is that ok/what does it mean?

What is VirtualDubMod and where do i get it? I don't know what I'm doing, only started yesterday and some of the lingo seems like a foreign language to me.

VirtualDubMod is an excellent AVI processing program which you can download from here:

hey ben I'm the guy you responded to in the conversion/encoding forum couple days ago. I wasn't sure if you were going back to check on the thread I started but my response was that I didn't click on pal nor ntsc so why is my burned dvdr jumping when put in my dvd player? could it be that my source is deinterlaced? and so how would I know if it is or isn't?

Guys, I recently lost my hard-drive and had to reinstall all my programs.I just tried converting an AVI file with AVI2DVD and got the following error:

"AVIsynth open failure:AVI source:couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc xvid"

Any idea what the problem is?

Hi, me again! I dowladed xvid, and the conversion process went all the way (using freeEnc), but when I burned the file to disc there was a 5 second soundtrack lag,what am I doing wrong now?
