Common # of chapters to create in a movie

i have a dvd stand up here that needs chapters created... i'm not sure how many i should create. it goes for 1:19:20's - i was thinking when ever i need to create chapters to just always do 20 chapters? as it will auto create with the right program. or perhaps theres a way to work out how many chapters i should need by working out the length of the movie? any ideas?

Chapters is like keeping bookmark while reading a book therefore based on the length of the movie, I keep 10 min chapters to jump to.i.e. Total play time / 10 min = No of chapters.

I'd recommend breaking a chapter when a scene breaks in a natural way - just like in a Hollywood movie. 10 mins is highly arbitrary.

I use about 20-30 chapters, depending on what type of movie (documentary or action, etc... (when converting from a VHS)) , Nero and other programs have this nice "automatically create chapters" feature, maybe you should try it out and see if it works to your liking.
