DIVX Burning

I am having troubles trying to figure out how to make menus for a dvd that has numerous DIVX/AVI files on it.

Basically my home DVD player can play divx files so i burn a lot of divx files to a dvd and then play them in my stand alone player but all I have is the ugly root menu that does not even show the whole name of the divx file.

Does anyone have a good program to use or suggestion how to make menus without converting the files to DVD files?

mpeg-4 capable player wont be able to display any such menus - correct me if i'm wrong

the dvd format supports menu but for avi playback you will have to stick to the menu which your player offers when reading the media content

that stinks because some of the names are so long i don't know what they are!

Write as Data-DVD(DVD-ROM).
