MP3s on DVD

Hi

I am wondering if its possible to burn MP3s to DVD and then play this music back via a DVD player??

any help is most appreciated

just had look in my dvd instructions. It is pioneer and it says playback is only possible through cd/r/rw. Therefore, as the limit is only 250 files or folders, i suspect dvd mp's will be on the next generation of set top playas.
