    TMPGEnc DVD Author

Hey guys, I'm using TMPGEnc DVD Author to cut & edit a DVD which works OK. However, in the "edit" screen where I select the start frame and end frame I don't get any sound. Am I supposed to?

I'm editing a music DVD and it's often difficult to tell when one clip has ended and another begun.

If I create the DVD all the audio works fine, but I don't get any sound in the "edit & cut" section.

    Hope that made sense?

Yes you are supposed to get sound, first of all, make sure your sound is not muted, in DVD AUTHOR next to the pause/play etc buttons on the right is a picture of a speaker, make sure this is not in mute mode!! Just out of interest what type of file is it, have you played it in Windows Media Player to make sure the sound is working ok??

I'm using the "Add DVD video" and editing from that.

The icon of the speaker next to the pause/play buttons is greyed out. Can't press it.
