Thanks to all the help available on the various forums I have been successfully authoring & creating converted VHS tapes to DVD using DVD Shrink and in the process gained much experience.

However I am seeking help on my next project which is to add a personal commentary and background music to a load of 50 year old 8mm family cine files which I have had converted and burned to DVD and are in a vob file format. I have a poor quality Mic (think I should upgrade) and can input sound to my Sony Vaio laptop but can anyone recommend software that I can use to do this and/or what's the best way to go about it. I can edit the various files using 'Click to DVD' which came with the Sony but it's the sound files that's the problem.
Also is there any software (free?) that might help in improving the colour and 'fuzziness' of the converted files. Sorry if this subject has been covered before but couldn't find any info.<o></o>
