Utility DVD for displaying SPRM registers?

Is there any such thing out there, either freeware/egoware/shareware or even commercial, that is a DVD where it displays the SPRM Read-Only registers when it's played on a player? It's a curiosity of mine to see what values might be held by my stand-alone players. Most are obvious, such as SPRM20 being the region code of the player (1 for me). But for those that are read-only, I assume for things such as SPRM16, it is read-only in the sense the value is set based on the setup options in the DVD players setup menu?

Check out PgcEdit in Trace mode. Set watch registers (see the useless help file).

Thanks Blu. I'm wondering if there's a tools disc you can put in your stand-alone player that displays register values... maybe a debug mode in the player since making such a disc would be really involved since I don't think you can generate text output of register values. Would have to have a heck of a lot of PGC's to play for each possible value. Arg! Anyway I appreciate the reply! I'll dig around for info on hidden debug features.

Doubtful cam. Anyway, most stay static while the flick is playing. Button number, audio and sub stream number, preferred languages and output type are all pretty much constant (unless you change something thru a menu).

All players will tell you what audio stream and subbie stream is selected and you ought to know yourself the other selections through your setup.
