i got this "only fools and horses" DVD,and i shrinked the menu, but what i would really like to do is to remove all other menu languages from the dvd,at the begining i get first menu that lets me choose language(croatian, slovenian and serbian) now i disable all but croatian, and i would also like to remove - i think thats title menu - for those disabled languages,i tried it using remove menu function in pcgedit, but i think it removed the whole title menu, but im not that sure,i dont really understand whole dvd structure thing, other then the phisical way it all looks on media, and it offers me something like remove/backup some old vts_01_0.vob...so i dont think that would work...is there any freeware that makes this easy?

Not having things in separate language units is a sign of crappy authoring, but this seems to be the norm these days.
If you have shrunk the menu, then you will gain little from removing the screens in other languages.
You could do one (or all) of the following:
1. Reassign the cells in the PGC Editor corresponding to the foreign languages to the kept language - this can take some time - and is possibly error prone.
2. Play around with the pre-commands in each menu PGC to ensure the menu only ever goes to your language - this can also take time and is open to errors if you don't know what you are doing.
3. (Quite easy) - Kill playback on the language selection menu concerned. Just Ctrl - K on the language selection menu PGC and select a default button (Croatian in your case).
4. (Easiest way) - Use the macro "Jump to PGC Upon DVD Insert" to run to your main menu in your language. Just trace to the main menu and run PGC - Jump to PGC Upon DVD Insert and your language will be automatically selected and this menu will be by-passed. Never fails. this dvd is sold with the newspaper, thats a new trend here last few years, selling cheap(about 5$) books and dvds(mostly documentary but movies and series as well),so i didnt really expect much of it when considering authoring...
Another thing i wanted to ask, topic is wide enough i think, this dvd has 4 episodes, actualy specials, each few minutes under 1h(you can imagine quality,80's BBC series),so i was wondering how could i split it in two dvds(2 episodes each, keeping the same menu for both(disableing /->is this spelled ok? /offcourse i would disable other titles in menu...)i was thinking about doing that in dvdrb, and i think it would work, and compression ratio would be 100% - no loss, but when i open it in dvdrb, titles(episodes) are not apart, but in one titelset...Comment

Use VobBlanker to blank the episodes and stuff you don't want. Export to another folder (part 1). Do it again to blank the other eprisodes, and export to part 2. Finally, use PgcEdit to disable the useless menu buttons.Comment

Be aware that I was referring to the guidewriter, not the author of the program when I spoke of "complete idiots".
