Perhaps this isnt the right board to ask this but here goes. When I back up my movies I always start with Decrypter. I use the Pgcedit wizard when i have to and I havent had any problems with it yet except for once(memoirs of a geisha came out wrong) and Im still working on that. Then when Im done I ususally run the files through Vob. I always just check the blank menu and then auto. My question is what exactly does this process do. I know its getting rid off stuff that I dont really need but I noticed the other day on some of my backups that there were no special features? Does Vob blank them out? Is there a setting I can choose that will let me keep the features and just blank out everything else like previews and warning screens? Should I even use Vob at all? I need some expert opinions heres. Thanks in advance.
Question about VobBlanker?

I think you are using "Autoblanking" (Alt-t). It blanks out all extras automatically and just leaves the main movie.
To have greater control, use VobBlanker in manual mode, selecting what you want to blank. See guides on the VobBlanker site and in the "Read this first" Sticky in our Authoring & Editing forum.

- I use Vobblanker to blank out extras, disclaimers etc (most basic use of VOBblanker)
- I use VOBblanker to blank out the the end credit Cells, saving appx 200-300 MB straight.
- I use VOBlanker to Crop, keeping only the actual movie from Start to End (without the credits) with menus.
- VOBblanker can be used to remove those uncomfortable scenes from inbetween the movie (if you have kids) still keeping the menus.
- VOBblanker can be used to remove the "Unreferenced Folder" you typically find after Menushrink, once you open it with DVD shrink.
- VOBblanker can be used to strip those unwanted language Audio and subtitles.
- VOBBanker can be used to arrange the ILV cells so that DVD shrink does not create problems later.
- VOBblanker can also be used for creating Still menus.(Just like Menushrink)
So choose your pick. End result for most of these activities is more Quality for a DVD5 fill.
