capturing streams

i was wondering is there any way to capture streaming video,streamed through macromedia flash player?
and which software to use if recording internet radio shows?or audio streams at all?

Sometimes you can find the SWF in your Internet temp folder: IE Tools > Internet Options > Settings > View Files. For capturing streaming media, I have used StreamBox VCR and was happy with that, but am sure there are other newer programs to do that job. I've also tested CoCoSoft Streamdown, which worked well on some streaming media, although not all those I tried.

I don't know what is radio one but you should be sure to comply with forum rule 6. I haven't used StreamBox in a while, but as I recall it copies the file as is from the webserver, so whatever format the website uses, it should be that. As an alternative, you could have a look at this website. There are a number of products actually, and you may want to search the forums to see what others have suggested. Hope this helps.

radio 1 is one of BBC's radio stations,essential mix is a show,weekly with artists performing electronic music djsets

i did think about it,and i figured out,those are the things - essential mixes - like any other djset,those things have and probably never will be sold on any dvd/cd and i can download it if i dont record it...now im not a lawyer yet(1st year) so i dont fully understand author rights and restrictments
