How to get PowerDVD to play from HDD?

I can't seem to fool PowerDVD into playing a DVD from my hard drive.

I've tried using subst but it only seems to recognise my DVD drives.

    Have I missed something obvious?

Have you ripped the complete (including ALL .IFOs, .BUPs, etc.) set of files from the DVD to your hard drive? Are they in a folder named "Video_ts"?

In PowerDVD 4.0 XP Open it and press CTRL-O, brings up a menu of which is play files from hard drive, select and browse to the folder and select the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.

Just in case you had'nt tried it.
