Help. How to change a Title Menu to a Root Menu?

Ok I created a dvd with TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 and when it exports it. It saves the menu as a Title Menu which is fine besides when I play it back the only way to get back to the menu is to hit Top Menu on my remote not just the menu and I think its because it is a Title Menu not a Root. Any help would be appreciated.

A title menu is in the VMGM domain. Root menus are in the VTSM domains.

This authoring package seems to put its menus in the VMGM domain. That's what you gotta accept when using a commercial package.

My strong advice is if it works, don't sweat it. It's a matter of pushing 1 button instead of another. However, if you wish to re-author the root menus of the various titlesets, it may not be all that difficult. Post your IFOs and if you can zip it up to a small enough size, the menu VOBs too.

Well I found out a good way to do it after I posted. So this can be deleted. What I did (and if there is a better way tell me) is run my AVI files through Tmpgenc Plus and made them Mpeg 2 DVD Compliant. Then used Nero to make the label and put it to the hard drive. From there the dvd was to big so I ran it through DVD Shrink. The DVD menu is excellent.

Sounds like the hard way round, but glad you got it the way you like it.
