    Nero, Ulead, TMPGEnc, fav. editor?

    Well, after working with video files for some time now, I am finding that I need more powerful (more features) software than what comes bundled with the burner.

    I sure appreciate the freeware available, but I need a simple, easy to use GUI interface! Don't have the time at my disposal to learn scripting & other commands. So, guess I need to shell out some dough.

    As far as editing goes, I need it all; fades, scene transitions, etc., etc.,

    What's your fav. editing program to use? Nero, Ulead, TMPGEnc, others? I need a complete, all-in-one package;

    *Capture
    *Edit/Trim/Fade/Transitions
    *Author
    *Burn

    **Does all the "pay" software save the files in a proprietary format, that won't open with another program?

    **Oh, and I also would like it for under $100.00!

    I welcome all your thoughts/suggestions!

    Cheers, katz
