    Help: DVD freezes after authoring

    Hi

I have a concert DVD recorded from TV without chapters and menu,
so I authored it with TMPGEnc DVD Author and added
    a menu and chapter points.
But now the video is messed up at at least one point.
The picture freezes for a second during the first song and then continues.
    The strange thing is:
When I play the original video with Power DVD using
the "open media files" option and playing the .vob files
individually, the video plays fine at the point where the error
    is on my authored DVD.
But when I open the same video with "open DVD files on HD",
I get the picture error, too.

When I open the video of my authored DVD,
I get the error both times,
by opening it as a DVD or as individual .vob files.

I tried to "repair" the original files by making new .ifo files using ifoedit.
But I still get the picture error after authoring.

I also tried to "reauthor" the original video files using DVDshrink
and making a backup of just the main video, but that didn't work either,
I still get the picture error after authoring.

I there anything else I can try to get a flawless DVD after authoring?
As I said, the original .vob file plays fine on it's own,
but after authoring it freezes always at the same point.
Is there a tool to "repair" or check a .vob?
Should I demux the video and audio from the vob?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    AJ
