    DVDit GOP header problem

Created mpegs in TMPGEnc 2.53 using VCD and DVD templates and they play fine in Powerdvd. Trying to create DVD Folder for test purposes using DVDit 2.1 but get the error "Each GOP header must be preceded by a sequence header". Tried toying around with the GOP settings in TMPGEnc but cant get it work for the life in me. Anyone any ideas? I really like the quality of TMPG.

Sorry chaps. Didnt search the forum thoroughly enough. Thread already exists and looks like no one has sorted it yet.

      GOP

GOP stands for group of pictures, the way MPEG is disigned, there is one uncompressed video frame shown and the GOP is the compressed data that comes after the picture so it goes like this

FRAME - (GOP)COMPRESSED DATA -COMPRESSED DATA - COMPRESSED DATA, new group FRAME - blah blayh blah

that is just my interpretation but i do know that you have to set it to the right number and the dvd player and dvdit complaint standards are 1-I 5-P and 2-B if you do that then dvdit defenatly wont give you a problem as far as that is concerned, but dvdit is really picky and buggy anyways.

      hope that helps

Thanks for the explanation but the settings you mentioned are set by default in TMPGEnc anyway so it could be a bug. How frustrating.
