help with authoring dvd from mpg

Hi,
I have an Aldi stores tv card which records mpg files.
Basically I want to be able to write to DVD.
All the attempts I have made with various softwares incl ulead, cucusoft avi to dvv, tmpgenc dvd author, cyberlink producer gold, have resulted in great quality video but with an audio out of synch.

Can play file in synch fine with gom or wm, just can't write to dvd, and maintain synch
