    Homemade video editing

Hi folks! a friend recently had some old homemade videotape transferred from vhs to dvd. when the company performing the service completed the transfer with a menu, the text they placed on the menu was incorrect. is there any way to go back in, find the file containing the incorrect text, and re-edit the text in question without altering the rest of the already transferred video? i have no idea what this process is referred to, so i'm sure where to look. it would be of great benefit if there's someone out there who can point me in the right direction!!

    thanks again

Dvdremakepro, not free but a really nice tool. Do a search or you can find a link in the sticky above call Essential programs by Blu.

    Vobblanker might work. (?)

    good luck

Yes, VobBlanker can also replace the menu background if it's a still picture. You must have MuxMan installed.
