Using PgcEdit v8.0beta8 - when's the best time to use the "delete uncalled cells" function? I've been running Delete Uncalled Cells right after I open up the DVD (and scanning for buttons over video (BOV)). It's the first thing I do before editting the disc for backup. Does it matter where or when in the process you do this?

Well, it depends of what you do. Normally, you can do it at the beginning, but if you edit the DVD so that some PGCs are skipped (for example with the Jump to PGC function or by hiding or removing menu buttons), it is possible that some more PGCs will be uncalled. In this case, it is probably better to do it after all processing. Also, if you want to regain the wasted space in the VOBs, you have to FixVTS the whole DVD. IMO, it is better to do that at the end, or you might need to do it several times.
Anyway, it doesn't hurt to apply Delete Uncalled PGCs several times. Personally, I like to do it at the beginning to see exactly which PGCs are really used, and I repeat the operation at the end, to clean up the DVD completely. Finally, I use FixVTS.
(BTW, the function removes the uncalled PGCs, not the cells, and is named "Delete Uncalled PGCs".)
