starting out i would to clearly state that the topic is based on legally purchased dvd movies and the freedom and or right to back them up!
I am strictly against the idea of PIRATING
I am no newbie to dvd backups... but one issue i have not come accross how to solve and it may be something simple. I know the program DVD Decrypter has questionable legality issues which is why it is no longer being updated, but I do use it for personal (non profit) use. example: brother bought a dvd that i would like and i make a copy, or a backup. My problem is after i decrypt the movie then use DVD Shrink i go in and replace the .vob files that i don't want on it (like special features) this allows for the movie to be bigger and better quality. when i run it on my computer it works flawlessly, however on the dvd player it does not. The previews at the begining of the dvd are the big ones that i remove, and what happens is it will go through them and then stop the dvd and when i hit play again it will skip the menu and go right to the movie. How do i fix this? I have tried IFOedit and that just removes the menu all together... any help would be greatly appreciated.
