colorization removal

I have downloaded (from DVD) a colorized version of a classic film & would like to remove the colorization could someone advise the correct software

I think turning the color all the way down on your display is the only way you can do it without quality loss. That said, seems almost any videoediting software can handle it, but you will have to re-encode the movie (hence, the quality loss).
