    Subtitles in ISO DVD ?

    Hello to everybody

    I rip (dvd decrypter+anydvd), burn (clonedvd) some movies from original dvd's for my kids. Some of them when i see that my kids like them a lot
    i rip them again from the burned dvd to my hard disk as iso file so i can burn them again any time.

    Here is my problem.

    When i try to play the iso from my hard disk with vlc player everything is fine. When i try to play them with media player classic i have no subtitle. I try VR9 (renderless) as i read in some forums but nothing. I have K-Lite Codec Pack 2.84 Full and vlc media plyer 0.8.6a.

    any ideas

    thanks in advance

    welcome to the forum

    did you try clicking navigate-->subtitles?

    VMR7/9 renderless/haali's renderer is only required for text based subs, and only if vsfilter isn't installed/active

        ah, just re-read the title, didn't know it was an ISO image we're dealing with; my bad. MPC does not play ISO images, it's just able to "read" them when nero is installed. see this thread.

        you could either mount the image with something like daemon tools and then play with MPC, or just use VLC

            you won't get them with MPC without mounting or ripping to a folder instead of an ISO image
