Ulead DVD Workshop file problems

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to shrink down a dws file. I finished authoring the file but then it comes up that it needs over 6 gb. The orginial movie was only 2.5 gb. Then I added a few menus. Is this anyway to shrink down before converting to dvd files. Thanks

How did u make a menu so big that it grew to over 3 gig worth of stuff?
U use DVD Factory instead, it seems easier and doesit all for me.
Maybe there there is the extra file when u converted to dvd mpeg 2 and it is adding the original plus the new one
