    Problem to read video file

    Hi,

I'm first time here and hope someone help me.
I have created 9 video files from my pictures. Then I burning all on DVD disc. When put in my DVD player I can play only first file (when that file finished playing stop) and cannot see rest of 8 files to play them even they all burnt onto DVD disc.
I did burning with NERO and at the end have message: Burning finish successfully with warnings. Funny thing is that I can burn each file on single disc and have not problem to watch. Problem is to watch them when put all on one DVD disc.
Anyone have idea how to fix problem.

      Using Wondershare

I using Wondershare DVD SlideShow Builder. My problem is not to make DVD files with this wanderful program - problem is after when burning. To simplify:
      1. I have make 9 different video files and save them in own folder.
      2. All have same files: VIDEO_TS; VIDEO_TS.BUP; VIDEO_TS.IFO; VTS_01_0; VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO; VTS_01_1. The last one is biggest one.

      3. When I go to NERO EXPRESS program have not problem with first one and accepting it.

      4. Problem start when I tried to add second and so on files. NERO said that all files already there and asking if want to replace or cancel.

      5. If I replace them then file 1 would be gone replaced with file 2.

      6. I renamed all VTS_01_1 with 2, 3, 4... at the and and NERO take them.

      7. When starting to burn have message: DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue? I chose YES and burning starting.

      8. After finishing NERO said that burning is successful with warnings.

      9. I load my new created DVD dics into my DVD player and only I can see is manual for the first file and when that file finish play DVD stop. Even I have them all burnt at disc I can play only first one and can not see rest one.

That's the problem. Quality of DVD files is excellent.

Sorry I haven't used Wondershare DVD SlideShow Builder. Why couldn't you have combined all your photo in one session?

          Problem is not Wondershare

          Hi 2COOL,

Problem is not with Wondershare. I tried some other programs and have same problem. Looks that problem is NERO. I can not put all picture together because it's too much 2000 +. They all different sort and have different music background.

It's NOT a burning issue. I know what your problem is. You just need to understand the DVD structure when authoring.

Now this is a good DVD structure, especially if you can play these files successfully. That is why all your projects in separate folder can play without problems.

            3. When I go to NERO EXPRESS program have not problem with first one and accepting it.
            Of course

            4. Problem start when I tried to add second and so on files. NERO said that all files already there and asking if want to replace or cancel.
Normal operation. You don't want to overwrite.

            5. If I replace them then file 1 would be gone replaced with file 2.
            Normal

            6. I renamed all VTS_01_1 with 2, 3, 4... at the and and NERO take them.
This messes up the DVD structure. You are combining them using an improper method. This will lead to unreferenced material.

            7. When starting to burn have message: DVD-Video files compliance test failed.
            That's why.

            9. I load my new created DVD dics into my DVD player and only I can see is manual for the first file and when that file finish play DVD stop. Even I have them all burnt at disc I can play only first one and can not see rest one.
Of course, since the player sees files according to your VIDEO_TS.IFO, the rest are pretty much unreferenced. Hence, no play.

If you want a DVD with a menu in which you can select your photos in categories, then you would have to reauthor using another program other than Wondershare. I see that each one of your folder projects have a menu. I assumed that it can also do menu buttons for each of your photo categories. If so, then you would have to reauthor.

If you don't need menus, it would be a simple task of dragging each photo into one story timeline. Windows Movie Maker can do this, with transitions and effects.

              2COOL,

Thank you for your effort to help but I will try for the last time to make it simple. I have created 9 files and even it's not the same size or same content it's all and with the same files:

              VIDEO_TS; VIDEO_TS.BUP; VIDEO_TS.IFO; VTS_01_0; VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO; VTS_01_1.

Now if I tried to burn them with my NERO EXPRESS each files will overwrite other, so will end with only one of them. The fact that I have 9 of them how I can burn them on same DVD disc because every of them have own manual. Simply: how can rename them to avoid overwriting? Which of above extension can rename and how?
Thanks once more for the effort.
