    problems with pal to ntsc

Hi- I was following Bens guide for Pal to Ntsc. And I messed it up, After 4 hours of work I ended up with a shoddy piece of work with no audio. So I am asking for a little help with some settings (See Pic) before I spend another 3 hours encoding. the picture is of Tmpgenc plus settings screen just before you select encode.

    thanks for your help

Please keep the original aspect ratio.

In your case it is 4:3 Display, isn't it. If the audio is AC3 and you have no audio output, try to convert audio from AC3to WAV first before encoding with TMPGEnc. You can check out the excellent LT. Columbo's guide how to overcome TMPGEnc prolem with audio from the limk below

Talk about the TMPGEnc line of software, including TMPGEnc Express, MPEG Editor and TMPGEnc DVD Author

      thank you Benbryant

I take it that the other settings are ok. the aspect sure dose look like widescreen to me.

Thank you for the advice regarding audio. I thought that It was one of my mistakes. I will try Lt's guide to convert to wav before encoding.

Boy this sure is one pain in the you know what unfortunately its my kids movie and it won't play on their player.
