I've got a bunch of home movie clips that I've archived as individual HD folders on my HD. I just read a post that said to "just rename the .vob extension in your HD folder to .mpg and import the clip into your favorite movie maker software, edit, and then make your DVD of your home movie. I just tried changing the .vob to .mpg with a stereo AC3 clip and one with an LPCM clip, and importing them into both Ulead and WMM, and it worked fine. I guess when you do it this way instead of using BB great tutorial for combining your home movie VOBs you lose any multi-track audio that you've mixed in to your home movie as I would guess any multi-channel audio (of your home movies) are downmixed (hopefully) by these home movie makers, but I don't know.
