hi, I have an AVI movie that i am converting to DVD MPEG format with TMPGEnc Plus. I have been told that if the movie has mp3 in it then the chances are it won't play on a standalone player but this movie don't have mp3 and i also been told that TMPGEnc needs a plugin to encode ac3 so i have demuxed out the ac3. After encoding how do i mux it back into the movie? I have used AVIMuxGUI. I think that's the name. Will someone please tell me in details how to mux it back? Do i load the mpg or do i load the AVI movie or do i load the demux.avi? That is the part that i am lost.
How to demux

The muxing is quite intuitive. You add the streams and press start. Try it.

Don't forget to generate a celltimes.txt file with PgcDemux and to import it in MuxMan, or you will lose the chapters.Comment

The outdated TMPGEenc Plus (mpeg 2 encoder) will not let you load the AC3 plug-in. You need a newer version of Tmpgenc encoder to get the m2v video file and the AC3 audio file out of Tmpgenc.
TMPGEnc Plus lets you get the m2v video file and the mp2 audio file compressed down to 4.7gb.
Take the mp2 audio file and load it into Vob Edit and then you can get the AC3 audio file.
Then author the m2v video file, AC3 audio file, subtitle file and chapter file into IFO edit to get a compliant VIDEO TS FOLDER for burning.
You can also get an AC3 audio file from the VOBS using DGIndex.
