Thanks, I saw the realease but it was the same version #, it never mentioned anything about beta version. I previously had beta 8. So the May 5 version is a newer version than beta 10?Comment

No - there's a release of about a month ago. Get it on the web site.

Yes, the full release is on there - 6 May right.
Don't get confused. 2.1.3.0 Beta 10 is the beta of 2.1.3 not a more advanced version leading to 2.1.4

Hi folks,
I LOVE "VOBBLANKER" ... has saved me a ton of work ... THANKS TO JSOTO!
May be the Version number from now on can be less confusing ... you know kind of stick to numerical ...
For example version 2.1.3.0, 2.1.3.0 beta10, 2.1.3.1 (which would be the NEW Version) ... or something like that
Also, JSoto's main download page ... I have hard time locating his "Latest Version" on his web page ... so I just go to VH download page.
Thanks,
G!Comment

The version numbering of all software can be confusing. The version beta(s) usually come first then RCs (release candidates) then the version is finally released. Like 2.1.3.0b1, b2 etc. then 2.1.3.0 RC1 then maybe RC2 then 2.1.3.0
When ya go to the homepage the latest public release is listed. Click on VobBlanker then you'll see the downloads listed with the mirrors hosting the downloadsNot registered Go here and click register to join the Digital Digest Forums

Hi jm1647,
Hey guy THANKS A BUNCH for the explanation on the "Release" numbering system ... I just learned what the heck RC1 stands for ...
I guess now it makes "Sense" to me the numbering system that they are using.
And I was NOT sure if I always "GOT" the latest public Release version ... and Thanks for that insight.

And some software has an "alpha" release before a beta man I'm glad they don't use the whole military alphabet and go from a-z with numerical characters too before a final release
