    Sound variability in music clips

I'm making a DVD with multiple music clips, some from Youtube, some from old VHS tapes. Naturally there's a major variability in quality of the video, which I expect. There is also a huge variation in the volume of the sound....some are too loud and cause distortion and some are barely audible. I use primarily TMPEG Author and I have Express. There are over 90 clips on this DVD and I have files already. Is there some way to automatically normalize the entire DVD at once? Running each file through the TMPEC Enc would result in much larger files and would take forever. There must be an easy way to do this.....isn't there?
