    Cleanup sound on DVD

I have some preciouse recordings that I have on vhs tape, I have transferred them to DVD as the original recordings had started to deteriorate.
The problem with the recordings is that over time the sound has become muffled, although picture quality is still in excellent condition.

Is there software available that will help clean up the sound? I know there are many available for standalone audio tracks but i do not know of anything that will clean up an audio track within a dvd image?

    Any help would be appreciated

(The sound is also muffled on the original vhs recordings)

    Welcome to the forum, bozz!

You cannot edit the sound directly in the VOB files. You will have to demux all streams (with PgcDemux), edit the audio stream and remux all streams (with Muxman.)
