Does anyone know a good, preferably free, program to combine multiple subtitles into a single subtitle series? I want to do two different types of things here;
On the first type of disc I want to take Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese subtitles and place them in a single "Chinese Complete" subtitle file.
On the first subtitle series, Simplified, I moved all the subtitles to the top of the screen with DVDSubEdit, and on the second I moved them all to the bottom. Now I want to combine, as in merge, the two subtitle tracks into a single subtitle selection (much like dual subtitles but will work on players that don't support that).
On the second type of disc I want to merge the standard subtitle text track into the "behind the scenes" subtitle track (such as the Okuda notations on the US Star Trek discs or the Manga notations on the re-released Sailor Moon discs). I moved the standard subtitles (English, Chinese, and Tibetan) to the top. Now I want to merge in the notations file on each of the three standard subtitle tracks.
