    TitleWriter Menus - Templates?

I have just used TitleWriter for the first time and was hugely impressed with it's simplicity and effectiveness.

However, I was a little disappointed with the eventual quality of the menu as displayed on my TV and was wondering whether other templates are available to enable me to change from the default "wood effect" background which (a) wasn't what I was really after and (b) made the text less clear.

    Any comments / thoughts?

You can alter TW Backgrounds, frames (Whats around the buttons or framing the menu screen), or the button content (main Menus) at will to any .bmp file you wish (or Use a snapshot from the movie)
And each title can be altered as above
In MakeMenu -- Say Background Image -- simply browse (...) to a bmp file or select a vob from the movie (use the slider to select the frame)
Many more options available by clicking "Alter DVD Menu Color, Style Options"
(buttons/page, text font, text color, text size etc can be played with

TW4.64 (Unreleased)will offer list view (Current default is buttons laid on a grid) and the option of using Text as buttons

    2 words of caution --
.jpgs are fuzzy (lousy source) bmp files are better
If you create a bmp -- Black 0,0,0 pixels are treated as transparent in all cases (another color can also be selected)

By Playing with the transparency setting you can create buttons that look like icons

DVD Volume, title,Chapter Names are altered In DVD_Text Segment prior to MakeMenu

Play with the settings to your hearts content (You can always Undo or click Remove Menus) TW renders/creates/adds a menu very quickly

Some fonts render more clearly than others

Thanks FallenAngel - I'll try tinkering a bit more and see if I can get the kind of output I'm after.
