    How to edit menu buttons?

I need to change/edit buttons on a animated menu. I Know how to edit fixed menus with DvdRemake/Muxman, but animated menus, don´t....

The buttons are in Japanese, and i want translate them to portuguese (my language)

Does anyone can give me a tutorial to do that, please?

    Greetings from portugal.

    Welcome, Ricardo.

AFAIK, unfortunately, what you want is impossible without re-authoring the DVD (or at least the menu).

Of course, you can convert the menu to still with VobBlanker or MenuShrink, and then edit it.

      Thank you for your simpathy.

I can change but the menu but the animation goes to still, right?

Another question: How can i edit a button that is a "japanese caracter"? If i edit the menu in Photoshop, and translate it to portuguese, the button still appears with japanese caracters, and portuguese caracterss blow this :/... How can i simply change the shape of the button?

Not exactly. You must convert the menu cell to still before trying to edit its background or buttons highlights. It is then easy to export the background as a BMP image, modify it, and replace the original background with VobBlanker.

To change the highlight, you must edit the subpic image. You can extract it with DVDSubEdit, and re-import it. There are many guides explaining the method. But again, it works for still menus only. (Theoretically, it should work also for animated menus, but you will probably have to edit many pictures.)
