Author a DVD with AC3 and subtitles

Somebody can help me and tell me what is the best - easyest
way (program) to build a DVD image with AC3 5.1 sound and subtitles?

Hey,

I'm in the same boat as you. I used to create DVDs using MPEG layer-2 audio but found out you can get better compression using AC3 which allows you to fit more video onto a disc. However, the only authoring software that supports AC3 are rather expensive. Around the $200 and above price range I believe.
