    Hi, and welcome.

Why not use DVDDecrypter to read and write the dvd image?
Use ISO mode to read and write to to your dvdr.

    Two things though:
    1. DVD-R are 4.3Gb approx
    2. You'll need NTFS partition (NT,2000,XP)

I find that you don't actually need to be running under NTFS to use DVD Decrptor's make ISO feature. It automatically splits the file to accomodate the 4 GB limit. It's been workin' great for me with Windows2000 FAT32! Although when I do reformat I'll probably switch to NTFS.

          konfused,

Try to play your DVD for a few seconds and then stop it and load up your SmartRipper and select the BACKUP and also make sure all settings are correct and tell it where you want it to be copied onto your hard drive.
