doing dvd-rs for 10months now not to bad good results

ntfs
windows xp
smartripper
rempeg
spruce up
prassi

But theres ,not another teen movie /resident evil / and now jackass the movie whic ripp fine with smart ripper import to spruce up for chapter points and menus but on doing chapters ive notice theres like a protection system that smartripper has left and the video (.m2v.) has lines in it but not all the way SO how may i over come this thankyou

the dvds are all region 1 ntsc originals

Sounds like the movies switch periodically from progressive to interlaced format (as was done on "Jay & Silent Bob").

Save yourself a lot of aggravation and buy DVD95Copy and/or DVD2One...
