Princo DVD's not recogneized by Sony writer???

    Hi,

    I've got a Sony DVDwriter.
    I recently bought a spindle of Princo 2x DVD's.
I burned one PS2 copy and it works fine.

But what happens know is that i put a dvd in the writer and it doesn't seem to recogneize it anymore,it keeps sayinglease insert an empty disc...
i tried a few others from the spindle but none of them works.
If i try another brand it works perfectly.

    What could be the problem?

Princo DVDs have been noted, at many sites, to be problematic and of inconsistent manufacturing control...

Yes i know but with the new models and the new firmware they should work.

      Anyway,
isn't it weird that the first one worked perfectly?

This is getting weirder by the minute.

"Yes i know but with the new models and the new firmware they should work."

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the quality of manufacture of the DVDs...

Could you explain how it comes that the first dvd worked and the rest didn't?

"problematic and of inconsistent manufacturing control..." with emphasis on the word INCONSISTENT...
