Subtitle to DVD-R?

hi everybody

does someone can tell me how can I put a subtitle in a dvd backup?
Well i ripped a dvd and it hasn't Greek subtitles,only English.How can i put Greek subtitles?
I have the subtitles in .sub format.

You'd probably have to use a high-end ($$$) authoring program such as DVD-Wise...

You will need several programs to do so:

Subtitle Workshop - this software will help you to synchronise the times and convert the subtitles form SUB to SRT format.

Srt2Sup - this software will convert SRT to SUP (Ifoedit subtitle format).

Ifoedit - this software will demuplex and mux the video, sound and subtitles together and create VOB and IFO files and then you can burn it all on DVD.

All the programs mentioned above are freewares!

Hi. I tried to reach "srt2sup" recommented by _mutant_ since i was also interested, but without success. HOWEVER I found an alternative that you too may need: "DVDSupTools11". Download it from www.doom9.org Subtitles section, DVD Subtitle Converter.
