dvdshrink v2.3 and others v's IC7

ive tried most of the dvd9-dvd5 software solutions and i still find IC7 does the best quality, see the examples below.

both were done using maximum compression on dvd extras and also any non-english soundtracks were removed.

Well IC7 works OK if you don't mind waiting forever. It takes 6-8 hours on my 900mhz athlon. I use dvd2one most of the time. Takes about 1-2 hours to process and 30 minutes to burn with very good results.

Regardless of how fast your specific system may be, flip69's point is still quite valid - InstantCopy is FAR slower than either DVD2One or DVDShrink and somewhat slower than DVD95Copy.


(Some of us have systems that are yet faster than yours, but the comaprison is still valid)

in case you rather care for quality than speed: dvd2dvd-r might be worth testing
