    Best Quality Backup

I am a complete newbie and am looking for the best hardware and software to make backup copies. Tried the search function but no luck.

Quality is most important and if that means two discs, ok.
Being new to this, ease of use is important and it would be nice if the copy could be done in 1x time. Thanks.

well if 2 disks is fine then you don't need to worry about encoding/transcoding.

Is it DVDfab that is the best for 2 disk backups?

I can't recall as I DVD shrink everything IMHO the quality is fine even with high compression. Thats what happens when you have been using VCD's for a while.
