    some play some dont !!!

    hi,
i have created a -R copy of a dvd using dvd shrink software. i played both the
files and burned dvd (pioneer 106) on my pc using windvd and all was fine.
I played on my topset ALBA 103 which plays -R dvd and that was also fine.
i decided to copy another dvd, this played ok on my PC
but would not play on my Alba.

    All suggestions welcome

    thanks

    1) Did you use the same brand (and indicated burn speed) of DVD-R media?

    2) When you say that the newly burned DVD-R, "played ok on my PC", do you mean that it played as an actual DVD (access to chapters and menus, etc.), or that you played the individual .VOB files?

    3) Did you use DVDShrink in exactly the same manner as you did for your previous successful DVD-R?

    4) Did you use DVDShrink to re-encode (simply compress the entire DVD) or to re-author (delete one or more audiostreams or titles)?
