    Video Quality

    Hello!

What is the pogram that generates the best video quality
    when re-encoding DVDs?
I want to use DVD shrink or Pinnacle Instance Copy
and heard the second would produce a better quality.
    Is this true?

    Thanx,

Only YOUR opinion matters. Try them both (and, perhaps, DVD2One and DVD95Copy, as well) and decide for yourself...

      Yeah, principal you're right.
But I've already done such tests with MP3s once and
it was a lot of work to decide if I hear a difference
      between 192 and 256 kbit/s for example.
So I thought if there are people who have already compared
video qualities I am gonna ask them.
The second is that I heard of the other (quality worse) technology
shrink uses.... and somebody might know about it and could
say if there is really an essential technical difference....

There are both Quick and Quality Backup guides on http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/
DVDShrink is the easiest and many including myself love it! If you don't need the entire package backed up you can deselect unwanted parts like extras, foreign soundtracks etc to make more room for the lesser compressed movie.
I can't comment on Pinnacle Instant Copy.
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!
