    Join two DVDs?

How do I join two titles into one while keeping the chapters?

Use DVD Shrink v.3.0beta5 in the "Re-author" mode...

Using Re-author mode in DVDShrink 3.0 Beta 5 will make two different titlesets. I want to merge them into one. For instance, The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring Extended Edition is on two discs, I want to put them back together with no seams.

That being the case, you can use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (different than "TMPGEnc") to load both TITLES into one track (After ripping the FULL DVds to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter in "File" mode).
(If you'd like, you can also add a menu).

You can then use DVD Shrink v.2.3 (v.3.0beta5 doesn't "like" TMPGEnc DVD Author files) to compress to 4.37Gb...

          Thanks for the help.
(I don't need to compress it to 4.37 GB, I will play the movie from the HD.)

There is a workaround for Shrink 3 b5.

Make the VOB files in Author then make a Nero image using Image recorder in Nero.

Then mount the image using Nero Image Drive.

Then load Shrink 3 b5 and use open disk rather than open file on the imagedrive and shrink away.

It seems to accept open disk just fine rather than open files.

I put Ring and Ring 2 (recorded from TV using a PanasonicE50 DVD Recorder) on one DVD using this method.

I need DVD Author to create the VOB's from the RAM disc.
