Pioneer DVR-106D - Unable to burn

Hi,

I bought an external Pioneer DVR-106D a week or so ago.

I am having difficulty in burning DVD's to it. I can, however, burn CDR's and CDRW's on it.

I am using Bulkpaq 4x DVD-R's.

Is there branded media that this drive only copies too - PC-World have been most unhelpful.

this might be a resolution. so far nearly every person buying a Pioneer DVD Burners has some sorta probs most not being able to burn. the usual reason is that u might need to update or Firmwire on the drive i have a Pioneer A06/106 internal i had to do that
