    TMPGEnc Program

I just transferred a Video from VHS to DVD format using WINDVD ,
the file size is 4.75 GB...........
Before i burn it threw NeroVision i tried using TMPGenc Program to make it an MPEG to burn onto DVD.......I chose PAL 4:3 for europe and it says.... If authored with PCM audio, movie can be recordedup to 155 min onto standard 4.7GB DVD-R , and my movie is 1hour and 48 min.........So when i go to add the Video file and Audio File it comes up with and TMPGEnc.exe error and it closes it.....Ive used it on other videos and it works fine its just with this one it creates a problem.......I even tried on the lower PAL resolution where u can do 255min and it does the same thing????
Could anyone help me with this ???

In what format did you capture the audio and video from VHS? In any case, sometimes TMPGEnc is tempermental with LPCM audio. Search the forums and you'll find some threads discussing that. One option might be to capture or convert the audio to WAV or MPG instead. And by the way, if you are using the trial version of TMPGEnc, the MPEG-2 capabilities are disabled after 30 days.

Are you sure you used WinDVD to capture, or was it another program?

              To Pioneer41:

"Mpeg-1" and "Mpeg-2" ARE DVD formats. I guess my question should have been: Was the capture saved in either mpeg 1 or mpeg 2?
