help buying dvd burner and reader

Hi, guys !

I'm about to buy a dvd-rom reader and a dual dvd burner!

About the reader wich brand do you think is best?
( The one that reads all formats and is a good (quick) ripper )

Asus , Lg , Plextor , Pioneer ??


About the burner i've seen several new 8X8 (+-) burners.

for ex:

Sony DRU-530A (needs firmware update 2.0A)

I have the Optorite DD0203 and it works good for me, plus it supports HD-burn on cd-r. IMO Sony is overpriced. Check here to see what other ppl have to say www.dvdrhelp.com
