    dvd-media wont play in computer

been burning with a nec 2500a mostly + media..
    no probs,plays in EVERYTHING..
got some quality - media,,plays in multiple setops no prob.
put - media backup in computer "player" a nec dv-5700a
and nothing even "see's " a dvd in there ?
windows dont see it,power dvd dont see it,decryter dont see it,nothing see's it.?
    nec 2500a see's it,all setops play them..?
the nec 5700a is a fairly newer player also..
    media is "imation -r"..
could this be in some way my fault in burning or the players problem????
dont have any other -media to try and dont want to buy any if this glitch will continue..
    any sugesstions ???????????

Well, http://help.nec-computers.com/au/pib...0A&layout=1409 doesn't even list DVD+R/RW so I reckon your 5700 just isn't up to it
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

Most PC DVD "players" (DVD-ROMs) play ONLY one or the other - either DVD+R or DVD-R. It appears that yours only plays DVD+R...
