How long does it take to COMPRESS a dvd?

Hey guys... or girls... quick question...

How long does it take you to compress a dvd using dvd shrink? I have an 8x burner but it takes me like an HOUR to compress it...

How can I speed this up?

It will take 50-60 minutes if you also do a deep analysis before compression.

It should take around 25 minutes for most people just for compression.

I just got done compressing two movies and the actual deep analysis to 30 minutes and another 30 minutes to make the image and then 10 minutes to burn the disc. This is a fairly normal speed.

True true. Using an AMD 2500 OC'd to 2GHz and 512MB PC3200 RAM this is normal speed.
