    Nec 2510a

I have just purchsed an NEC 2510A Dual-Layer writer. I have not, however, purchased any blanks yet.

My question is what are two or three of the most reliable brands you have dealt with? Does anyone on here have this writer?

I'll be using the discs I burn mostly on PC's but will be viewing home videos on my playstation 2.

Thanks and I appreciate the help. If this is the wrong forum to ask this then I apolagize. Please let me know where I should ask this sort of stuff.

    Right forum

Are you asking about dual layer media? It's only just coming out so a bit early for feedback. A very popular single layer media is anything that specifies Ritek G04 dye.
This isn't a learning curve ... this is b****y mountaineering!

I just got that same burner last week and reading all the reviews I also bought some Ritek/Ridata discs and they work great. I haven't played them on a PS2 but they work fine in my Panasonic player.

        thanks

        thanks for the feedback.

i'm going to chose between raitek g04 and taiyo yuden. taiyo yuden is more expensive, but their cd-rs are the best imo so their dvd's should also be on par.

if anyone has had any problems with ty, let me know! take care.
